Flox Build Incomming

Well today has been insane.

I ran out of time to finish the next build of the Flox library for GameMaker. Hopefully I'll get some time to talk about it soon too because it's really exciting! It fixes a whole bunch of issues with previous versions, issues that weren't so much buggy as they were mis-architected.

By way of an apology, I have uploaded a preview of the next version to bitbucket. It's missing player authentication, it doesn't have the flox_entity_refresh function and a number of the constants were renamed BUT it's already WAY better than any previous version to date. So if you've hit a wall of bugs in a previous version, it might be worth downloading the new version here! Fair warning, I've done a bit of testing, but there may be some sneaky deal-breakers in there. Sorry!

Tomorrow I head for Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, so do get in touch if you're going! I would love to meet you. I'm back sometime around the 18th of March (Got a cheeky visit to NYC in there too), so hopefully I'll be able to make a release happen towards the end of March.

See you on the flip side.
